On Saturday the 12^th of November 2022, 9 Skrine lawyers ran for Teach For Malaysia (Run For a Reason) at this year’s Kuala Lumpur Standard Chartered Marathon.
 
Our Skrine runners got up at the crack of dawn and gathered at a very muddy Dataran Merdeka to join the 5km and 10km fun run categories. It was great to start the weekend with some outdoor movement alongside fellow Malaysians of all ages, abilities, shapes, and sizes.
 
The route was an enjoyable one, passing Masjid Jamek, Bank Negara, Masjid Negara and the Perdana Botanical Gardens. Upon completion of the run, our runners rehydrated and spent some time at Teach For Malaysia’s booth, where they had a chat with TFM personnel including Chan Soon Seng, (Chief Executive Officer) and Pauline Kee (Manager, Partnership Development).
 
On behalf of the Social Responsibility unit, a huge thanks to Grace Teo, Joey, Shao Dong, Tommy, Sean, Javed, Faith, Sue Peng, and Ikram for representing the firm at KLSCM this year. Skrine looks forward to more opportunities to continue its strong support as a partner of TFM in the coming year.
