Joey graduated from the University of Reading with LL.B (Hons) in 2016. She completed the Bar Professional Training Course in London, United Kingdom and called to the Bar as a Barrister-at-Law at Lincoln’s Inn in 2017. She was then admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Malaysian Bar in 2018. Joey is now a Senior Associate in the Mergers & Acquisitions and Corporate Advisory and Transactions practice.

Both AME and KLK are listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia. The transaction entails the joint venture company acquiring and developing a new industrial park in n Mukim Ijok, Daerah Kuala Selangor with a nett development area of approximately 151.2 acres with a cash consideration of RM230.54 million.

Represented Langham Hospitality Group, a leading international luxury hotel operator listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, in respect of its joint venture with Oxley Rising Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Oxley Holdings Limited which is listed on the Main Board of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited. The transaction entails the joint venture company acquiring a luxury hotel located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur for a consideration of RM250 million.
