Our partner, Mubashir Mansor, was a speaker at the official launch of the Islamic Standard Form of Building Contract (i-SFC) 2024 at the Asian International Arbitration Centre’s Bangunan Sulaiman on 18 January 2024.
 
The AIAC’s Director, Datuk Sundra Rajoo opened the event with special remarks and former Chief Justice Tun Dato’ Seri Zaki bin Tun Azmi then delivered the keynote speech, which he emphasised the significance of the i-SFC to the construction industry. Tun Dato’ Seri Zaki bin Tun Azmi then accompanied Tun Mohamed Raus Bin Sharif, also former Chief Justice, to officiate the event.
 
Mubashir’s session among others dealt with the principles of Shariah in the context of the construction industry, the potential it serves the community at large regardless of one’s religious background and the strategies to increase the awareness of the i-SFC 2024. He shared the stage with Prof. Sr. Dr. Khairuddin Abdul Rashid in a session expertly moderated by Mr. Salim Bashir.
