Our dispute resolution partners, Leong Wai Hong and Sharon Chong, spoke at the inaugural SIAC Academy Kuala Lumpur 2019 titled “Time and Cost Savers at SIAC: Emergency Arbitration, Expedited Procedure and Early Dismissal”. The event took place in University Malaya, Petaling Jaya.
 
Leong Wai Hong spoke in the Lunchtime Chat session on “The “A” to “Z” of Persuasive Written and Oral Advocacy” while Sharon spoke in the workshop on “Drafting and Handling an Application for Early Dismissal – from Arbitration Practitioners’ Perspective”.
 
The SIAC Academy provides practical training for arbitration practitioners and arbitrators and is held in countries around the region.
