10 December 2023 marked the 75^th anniversary of one of the world's most ground breaking global pledges: the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. This landmark document enshrines the inalienable rights that everyone is entitled to as a human being - regardless of race, colour, religion, sex, language, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status.
 
The Malaysian Bar Council through its Human Rights Committee marked this momentous day with a Human Rights Festival showcasing the tremendous work being done by NGOs in preserving these universal rights.  We, Skrine, stand with you.
