Our partner, Claudia Cheah, the co-head of the Firm's Banking & Finance Litigation Practice Group as well as the Restructuring & Insolvency Practice Group participated in the Deloitte’s first Breakfast Talk series, as a speaker. The event which was held at Avante Hotel on 19 September 2023 was well attended by clients from various industries and the speakers shared about the proposed amendments to the Companies Act, 2016, focussing on the changes to the corporate rescue mechanisms and provisions regarding beneficial ownership.
