Our Partner, Claudia Cheah, was one of the speakers in a seminar titled “Corporate Rescue Mechanisms: Current Framework and Proposed Reforms”, organised by Bar Council Malaysia on Thursday, 12 October 2023, at the Raja Aziz Addruse Auditorium, Kuala Lumpur.
 
The seminar was well attended with active discussions on the different corporate rescue mechanisms available in Malaysia, debt restructuring, stakeholders’ roles, and recommendations for reform. Claudia spoke together with Anoopal Kaur, Partner from Baker Tilly Malaysia, and Leong May Lee, Managing Director from Perun Consultants.
