On 23 April 2022, we welcomed some law students from the University of Malaya (UM) to our office under the Legal Executive Apprentice Programme (LEAP) organised by the UM Law Society.
 
The day started off with an opening address by Charmayne Ong, chair of our Associates and Pupils Committee. This was followed by an introduction to the firm, our practice areas as well as corporate social responsibility initiatives. The students were then given a tour of our office and library. The day was made more eventful by their participation in an interactive case study exercise and presentation. The visit concluded with a Q&A session, where the students gained insight into various aspects of the law practice as well as our internship and pupillage programmes at Skrine.
 
We are glad to have taken part in LEAP as a platinum sponsor, and we look forward to being involved with future initiatives such as this.
