Our dispute resolution partner, Sharon Chong was a speaker at the #IndiaADRWeek (IAW) 2022 hosted by the Mumbai Centre For International Arbitration. The IAW was a hybrid event held over 5 days (10-14 Oct 2022) and spread across 20 virtual sessions, with in-person drinks and dinner events across India in Bengaluru, Delhi and Mumbai.
 
Sharon spoke in the Day 1 panel session “Future of Arbitration: New and Emerging Norms” alongside Louis Flannery KC (Mishcon de Reya LLP), Kartikey Mahajan (Khaitan & Co), Andrew Pullen (Fountain Court Chambers) and Piyush Prasad (WongPartnership LLP), moderated by Nish Shetty (Clifford Chance). The session covered many important topics, such as the use of technology in international arbitration, new and emerging norms in India, third-party funding and ESG in international arbitration, in particular, diversity and climate issues.
