Bake & Craft Sale

In conjunction with Skrine’s 55th anniversary celebration which was held on 4 May 2018 at TPC Kuala Lumpur, the Social Responsibility Unit organized a Bake & Craft Sale, which was modelled on the overwhelmingly successful Bake Sale in 2016.
Staff from each floor which took part in donating and preparing scrumptious baked goods and crafts for sale, in an effort to outdo the competition and emerge as winners in 2 categories: Highest Sales & Best Decorated Table. Each floor also had to prepare one item to be auctioned off, which ranged from handmade pottery, a cross-stich a Renoir painting, a croquembouche and a hand-painted 3 tier cake.
After all that hard work, it was time for some entertainment with the Karaoke auction. Lawyers bid to have Partners of the firm showcase their vocal abilities.
The fierce competition and generous spirit of our staff throughout the afternoon resulted in a collection of over RM19,000 which was distributed to 2 charities supported by Skrine – Teach for Malaysia & IDEAS Academy.
