Skrine Meets Pertiwi Soup Kitchen - 2nd Chapter of the 2019 Series

On 19 June 2019, 16 members of the Skrine family volunteered with Pertiwi Soup Kitchen. The team made their first stop at Lorong Medan Tuanku (opposite Loke Mansion), before moving on to Jalan Hang Lekiu (near Dataran Maybank).

Food and drinks were provided to close to 600 Malaysians, of all ages and temperament, just looking for a bite and a hot cup of coffee to keep them going.

The tasks of distributing the food and drinks were ably carried out by the Skrine volunteers.

Special thanks also to our fellow Skrinees, who sponsored additional food items for all the beneficiaries.

This was the firm’s 4th volunteering activity with Pertiwi since the initiative was launched by the Social Responsibility Unit in 2018.
