Skrine was recently invited by Project ID to join their Young Educators’ Challenge, a nationwide competition for secondary students to design and conduct the most innovative online lesson which took place on 12 – 13 December 2020.  Our Senior Associate, Rachel Chiah, was a Mentor to Team 7 which comprised three Form 4 students from Kolej GENIUS @ Pintar Negara in Selangor. Team 7 designed and conducted a highly interactive and engaging lesson on “Seni & Budaya Malaysia”, focusing on Kuda Kepang, Karthigal Deepam and Mooncake Festival, by using Power Point slides, videos, and the games of Hangman and Minecraft.
 
Team 7 won third place in the competition and with it, a cash prize and partial scholarships to Sunway College. Congratulations to Team 7 on this fantastic achievement!
 
It was certainly inspiring to see the creativity, determination and resourcefulness of students and Skrine thanks Project ID for the opportunity to be a part of this meaningful initiative. We look forward to continuing our collaboration with Project ID in the year ahead.
