The Insolvency (Amendment) Bill 2020 (the ‘Bill’) was passed by the Dewan Rakyat (House of Representatives) and the Dewan Negara (Senate) without amendment on 25 August 2020 and 22 September 2020 respectively.
 
The Bill will now be presented to the Yang di-Pertuan Agong for Royal Assent. Thereafter, the Bill will become law upon its publication in the Gazette and will come into operation on a date to be appointed by the Minister by notification in the Gazette.
