The Strata Titles (Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur) Rules 2019 (‘Rules’) were gazetted on 15 October 2019 and will come into operation on 1 January 2020. 
 
The Rules seek to implement in respect of the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, the amendments made to the Strata Titles Act 1985 pursuant to the Strata Titles (Amendment) Act 2016 which came into operation in that territory on 1 January 2017 (except for section 29 of the Amendment Act which came into operation on 1 January 2018).
 
The Stata Titles (Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur) Rules 2015 will be revoked when the Rules come into operation.
