It has been reported on 5 November 2019 that the Sarawak Government will be issuing onshore licences to Petroleum Sarawak Bhd (Petros), a company owned by the State Government of Sarawak, for exploration and prospecting of oil and gas in Limbang and Baram areas of Sarawak.
