On 21 November 2023, we published an article highlighting the main amendments that will be introduced under the Environmental Quality (Amendment) Bill 2023 (‘the Bill’) that was tabled for its first reading before the Dewan Rakyat (House of Representatives) on 16 November 2023. The second reading of the Bill has been postponed to the next meeting of the Dewan Rakyat which adjourned yesterday.
