Updates on the Companies Act 2016

The Companies Commission of Malaysia (CCM) has updated its webpage on The Companies Act 2016 as follows:
Practice Directive 2/2017 (Revised) has been revised to clarify the notification mechanism for change in the business address and/or nature of business of a company. This revised directive supersedes Practice Directive 2/2017 and the Amendment to the Practice Directive 2/2017 issued on 18 April 2017 and 10 July 2018 respectively.
A new Practice Directive 5/2018 provides guidance on the lodgement of annual returns and updates of particulars of a company at other times.
The CCM has also updated “Part “M” and Part “OTHERS” of its FAQs on CA 2016.
