Jesy is a partner in our Real Estate practice. She has a wide range of experience in real estate matters and advises on complex acquisition and disposal of properties, property joint development, sale and leaseback transactions, commercial and industrial leases, and build-to-suit transactions.
Her portfolio of transactions includes development land, industrial land, estate land, land beneath water, reclaimed land, under-construction development and office building. She has advised and represented leading property developers, multi-national corporations (MNC), government linked companies (GLC), foreign direct investors, data centre companies, listed companies, receivers and managers, and liquidators.

- Acting for S P Setia Berhad in their joint venture with Mitsui Fudosan (Asia) Malaysia Sdn Bhd to develop prime commercial land in Setia Federal Hill, Bangsar.
- Acting for S P Setia Berhad in their second joint venture with Mitsui Fudosan (Asia) Malaysia Sdn Bhd to develop a 113-acre residential development within Setia’s flagship township of Setia EcoHill in Semenyih.
- Acting for KLK Land Sdn Bhd to dispose 150 acres industrial land to global electric vehicle (EV) leader, BYD, to set up BYD’s first plant in Malaysia at KLK TechPark, Tanjong Malim, Perak.
- Acting for KLK Land Sdn Bhd in their disposal of 419.15 acres industrial land in Johor to the joint venture company with Mah Sing.
- Acting for Gamuda Land in partnership with Taylor’s Education to redevelop Taylor’s SS15 site.
- Acting for CapitaLand Malaysia Trust (“CLMT”) in their acquisition of prime factories in the Nusajaya Tech Park in Iskandar Malaysia, Johor, marking CLMT’s entry into the industrial market.
- Acting for CapitaLand Malaysia Trust in their acquisition of five industrial properties in Johor from AME Elite.
- Acted for the subsidiaries of AME Elite Consortium Bhd, a major industrial property developer, to dispose 11 plots of freehold land measuring approximately 34.9 acres in i-Tech Valley to Hong Kong-based data centre operator, Digital Hyperspace Malaysia Sdn Bhd, marking AME’s first deal in data centre segment.
- Acting for the subsidiary of AME Elite Consortium in their joint venture with KLK Land Sdn Bhd to develop industrial park in Ijok, Selangor, and represents an expansion for AME outside of Johor and Penang.
- Acted for NextDC, Australia’s leading data centre operator and ASX 100-listed, in the setting up of their first international data centre in Malaysia which will be a Tier IV-certified data centre, the highest industry standards globally.
- Acting for a Temasek owned (Singapore sovereign fund), leading data centre provider in the ASEAN region in their acquisition of land in several locations in Malaysia.
- Acting for the Malaysian investment vehicle of a global infrastructure investment fund in their acquisition to set up data centre in several locations in Malaysia.
- Acted for Nasdaq-listed and global leader in tubeless insulin pump technology, Insulet Corporation, in the setting up of its new manufacturing facility in Johor, marking Insulet’s first facility in South East Asia.
- Acting for Avaland Berhad in their acquisition of strategic lands in Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya from subsidiaries of Tan Chong Group pursuant to tender process.
