Skrine x Project ID: Career in Law & Public Speaking Workshop

As part of a career aspiration and leadership programme, on 25 August 2019, Skrine held an “Introduction to Career in Law & Public Speaking” workshop in collaboration with Project ID for students of SMK Pandamaran Jaya, Klang. Our team comprising of Trishelea Sandosam, Kalaiarasan Rasadurai, Gooi Yang Shuh, Tan Wei Liang, Ryan Wan Ismail bin Jaafar, Kailash Kalaiarasu, Laarnia Rajandran, Chong Hong Kiat and Rachel Chiah kickstarted the workshop with an interactive session, aimed at giving an insight into the legal career, including the qualifying requirements. The workshop included a public speaking session, where students worked in groups to prepare and deliver speeches based on a given topic. It was heartening to see the students overcome their fear of public speaking as well as witness the warm encouragement and support given by their classmates.
The workshop concluded with a presentation of comic booklets on intellectual property rights, sponsored by Skrine and printed with the permission of the World Intellectual Property Organisation and the International Chamber of Commerce.
