Malaysia-China Belt & Road Economic Cooperation Forum 2019

The Malaysia-China Belt & Road Economic Cooperation Forum 2019, organised by Malaysia-China Business Council (MCBC), and supported by Ministry of International Trade & Industry and Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Malaysia was a success. It was hosted at Royal Chulan Hotel, Kuala Lumpur on 8 August 2019, and successfully attracted about 500 industry players and entrepreneurs.
Our corporate partner, and a liaison partner of our firm’s China Desk, Mr Addy Herg, moderated a panel session titled “Risk Management & Dispute Prevention”. Amongst the panellists was the director of the Asian International Arbitration Centre, Mr Vinayak Pradhan.
Our associate, Ms Sin Wei Loke, was the emcee for the panel session titled “Positioning Malaysia as a preferred Investment Destination”. She was supported by our paralegals who were conveners of the forum.
