Our Senior Associate, Kalaiarasan Rasadurai, recently moderated a session entitled “Setting Sail into Unchartered Territory: Third Party Funding & Implications” during the Malaysian Institute of Arbitrators’ 9th Annual Law Review held at the Asian International Arbitration Centre on 27.1.2026.

Kalai R navigated this engaging session where speakers from various jurisdictions exchanged perspectives and shared their experience on third party funding’s regulatory framework and its’ implications in their respective jurisdictions. The esteemed panel of speakers included Mr Wilfred Abraham, Consultant at Zul Rafique & Partners (Malaysia), Ms Ivy Yueng, Legal Counsel at Deminor (Hong Kong), Mr Steven Perian KC, Barrister at 2 King’s Bench Walk Chambers (London) and Partner at Rosli Dahlan Saravana Partnership (Malaysia), Ms Tan Weiyi, Partner at Clyde & Co (Singapore).
