To’ Puan Janet Looi, recently attended the ‘Environment, Corporations, and Private International Law in Asia Symposium’ hosted by Singapore Management University (SMU) on 6 - 7 February 2025.
The symposium brought together leading experts from across the region to discuss this critical topic, featuring perspectives from jurisdictions including Hong Kong, Indonesia, India, the Philippines, Vietnam, China, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia, and Singapore. On Day 1, Janet moderated a discussion session providing an overview of developments in Vietnam and China. On Day 2, she contributed insights and perspectives from Malaysia during her presentation.
