Our partner, Kumar Kanagasabai, had the pleasure of speaking at the Asset Recovery Asia 2025 conference, held from 20–22 May 2025 at the Park Hyatt Saigon, Vietnam.

During the event, Kumar joined a panel alongside Joe Yuan Wang, Jill Ann Koh, Tony DongWook KANG, and Philipp Mueller for a session titled: “Fraud Claims, From Cradle to Grave”.

The panel provided a comprehensive overview of the tools available to support fraud litigation in cross-border cases, including:
• Orders for disclosure of information and documents against third parties
• Passport orders
• Freezing orders and other ancillary relief

They also delved into the fundamentals of post-judgment asset recovery, sharing insights on the remedies available to enforce judgments and arbitration awards across jurisdictions.

The conference brought together leading fraud and insolvency practitioners from across the region, fostering rich discussions on the latest strategies and developments in asset recovery.
