Our partner, Mubashir Mansor, spoke at the 6th Global Legal Association Conference 2025, held on 26 & 27 May at the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC).

On Day 1, Mubashir participated in a session on: “Streamlining Arbitration and Litigation Processes: Expedited Procedures.” He explored how tailored procedural frameworks can significantly enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of dispute resolution.

On Day 2, Mubashir returned to the stage to deliver a keynote address, covering a wide range of topics, including:

• The benefits of arbitration to the business community
• The role of Artificial Intelligence (AI)
• Third-party funding in arbitration
• Global political issues and their impact
• Climate change and ESG-related arbitrations
• Specialised arbitration rules, with an example on Islamic arbitration frameworks

The conference brought together legal and business professionals from around the world to exchange insights and explore the evolving landscape of arbitration and dispute resolution.
