Regional Arbitral Institutes Forum (RAIF) Conference 2024

 On 7 and 8 November 2024, our Senior Associate, Suhaib Ibrahim attended the Regional Arbitral Institutes Forum (RAIF) Conference 2024 where he delivered the 2024 Country Report on behalf of the Malaysian Institute of Arbitrators.
 
The RAIF Conference was first established in 2007 with annual conferences held in different locations each year. This year the conference was held at the Sofitel, Darling Harbour, Sydney, Australia.

The event brought together esteemed speakers, including Nicholas Hopkins KC (List A Barristers) , The Hon Andrew Greenwood, and The Hon Kevin Lindgren both former judges of the Federal Court of Australia.
 
Topics at the RAIF Conference this year focussed on the unprecedented challenges faced by dispute resolution practitioners currently, which continue to be evolving rapidly.
