AIAC organised its inaugural Insurance Arbitration Workshop on 21 March 2023 at Regent Auditorium, AIAC. The one-day programme ran in three sessions, each discussed topics including the Insurance and Re-Insurance in Arbitration, Insurance Arbitration Clauses as well as the Drafting of Insurance Arbitration Decisions. Sharon Chong, our dispute partner moderated Session 2 – “Different Coverage of Insurance (General, Professional Indemnity/Medical, Construction, Maritime) and How Arbitration Comes into Place to Address These Insurance Claims”.
 
Shannon Rajan, our dispute partner in the Infrastructure, Construction and Engineering practice was the moderator for Session 3 – “The Key to Drafting Good Insurance Arbitration Award and Open Forum Discussion on the Insurance Arbitration Scene in Malaysia”.
