Our lawyers from Skrine’s Competition practice, Tan Shi Wen, Angela Hii and Lee Li Zhu, were recently invited by Westports Malaysia Berhad (“Westports”) to conduct a presentation and training session on the Competition Act 2010.
 
The objective of the training was to ensure that the participants in attendance, which included the management team and officers of Westports, are able to grasp a basic understanding of competition laws in Malaysia and have a better awareness on the wider competition issues that concern the shipping industry in our country. Through this training Westports demonstrates a desire to equip itself with a more robust compliance with competition laws in its business practices and dealings with other industry players.
