In conjunction with the International Oil & Gas Contracts and Negotiations Core Course held in Kuala Lumpur, the Association of International Energy Negotiators (AIEN) organised the Asia Chapter Networking Reception on 16 March 2023 at Woobar, W Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. The networking reception was sponsored by Skrine, Baker Botts and Pantai Rhu Energy.
 
Ir. Siti Rafidah Moslim, PETRONAS’ Head of Governance & Embedment in Corporate Sustainability shared her insights on PETRONAS’ net zero carbon strategy with her talk titled "PETRONAS’ Net Zero Carbon Emissions by 2050 Pathway”. She discussed the various initiatives that PETRONAS was undertaking to work towards a more sustainable future and provided valuable insight into PETRONAS’ commitment to achieving net zero carbon emissions by 2050.
 
Overall, the event was a success and a great occasion to gather industry leaders globally, boasting around 100 attendees that evening. It brought together a diverse group of professionals from the energy sector and provided a fantastic platform for participants to connect and share ideas over refreshments and drinks. The atmosphere was jovial, and attendees expressed interest to more networking opportunities within the energy sector in the future.
