Beihai Asia International Arbitration Centre (BAIAC) Young Practitioners: Building a Leading Arbitration and Mediation Practice in Asia-Pacific

Our partner, Jocelyn Lim, was a panellist in the BAIAC Young Practitioners: Building a Leading Arbitration and Mediation Practice in Asia-Pacific webinar organised by BAIAC on 28 September 2022.

The session was led by Godwin Tan (Associate, Allen & Overy, London) and Charles Mak (PHD candidate, University of Glasgow), and Jocelyn spoke alongside Nelson Goh (Partner, Pallas Partners LLP, London) and Toh Jia Yi (Partner, Allen & Gledhill, Singapore). The panellists who are arbitration and mediation practitioners from London, Singapore and Malaysia shared their diverse experiences in dispute resolution in Asia-Pacific. They discussed the distinct challenges of establishing a disputes practice in or relating to the region and provided tips to junior practitioners who wish to forge similar careers.

The webinar was well attended and had attendees from different jurisdictions such as London, Paris, Hong Kong, Singapore, Geneva and United States.
