Our partner, Siva Kumar Kanagasabai, spoke on 10 September 2022 at the 2nd National Litigation Conference 2022 which was organised by the Kuala Lumpur Bar Committee (KLBC). The Conference was attended by close to 200 persons including approximately 30 members of the judiciary.
 
Kumar spoke during the 1^st session titled “Judicial Approach to Unconscionability and Good Faith in Business Transactions”, together with R. Rishi, a partner at Rosli Dahlan Saravana Partnership. The session was moderated by Fiona Bodipalar, a partner at Bodipalar Ponnudurai De Silva. Our partner, Nimalan Devaraja, senior associate, Tan Hui Wen, and associates, Dhanyaa Shreeya, Siew Ka Yan, Tan Wei Li, Joshua Teng, and Khirranya Ganesan were also present at the conference.  
 
The National Litigation Conference 2022 was organised as part of the KLBC’s on-going professional development initiatives for their members and pupils. The objective of the conference  was to provide an opportunity to enhance members’ legal knowledge and provide updates in the legal developments in various area of expertise.
 
The conference was launched by the Guest of Honor, YAA Tun Tengku Maimun binti Tuan Mat, Chief Justice of Malaysia.
