Skrine and Allen & Overy are pleased to invite you to a two-part Malaysia focussed dispute resolution webinar series focusing on "Inception to Enforcement: Practical Issues".

In the context of walking through the full lifecycle of an arbitration, this two-part webinar will, in particular, cover practical and commercial aspects of the steps from drafting an arbitration clause to tips in pre-dispute management (Part I), as well as practical aspects of managing the dispute itself up to issues arising at enforcement (Part II). The seminars will focus on disputes with a Malaysian connection, but also draw on experiences from other key prominent choices of seat of arbitration, including Singapore and Hong Kong, amongst others.

Sheila is a Partner in Allen & Overy's Global Arbitration group based in Singapore. She has advised on a wide range of arbitration matters, both commercial arbitrations and investor-State arbitrations, as well as arbitration related court matters.

Tatiana Polevshchikova
AIAC Deputy Head of Legal

As the Deputy Head of Legal of AIAC, Tatiana is involved in the administration of international and domestic arbitrations, adjudications, mediations and domain name disputes. Before joining AIAC, Tatiana obtained an LLM degree as a Fulbright Scholar in the US and practised for three years in Russia. Her experience includes advising Russian and European companies on a wide spectrum of legal matters, including but not limited to corporate and contract disputes, drafting and negotiating dispute resolution clauses.

Sanjay Grover
CEO of Kemaman Bitumen Company Sdn Bhd

Sanjay completed his degree in Chemical Engineering in the year 1985 and has amassed over 35 years of work experience in the oil & gas industry, ranging from sales & marketing, corporate communication, brand management, manufacturing and refining. He started his career with the State-owned Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited in India where he worked for 20 years. He later worked at Mangalore Refinery & Petrochemicals Limited as General Manager of Retail Sales, moved to Hindustan Colas Limited (a key player in the value-added Bitumen Emulsion and Modified Bitumen industry in India) to take on the role as its CEO, before joining KBC in Malaysia as CEO in early 2013. Through his career, Sanjay has had experience handling and managing different types of legal challenges, including judicial processes and arbitration cases.
