Announcement

In an effort to contain the further spread of the Covid-19 virus, a nationwide Restricted Movement Order (RMO) was issued by the Prime Minister of Malaysia last night (16th March) at 10pm which will take effect from 18th to 31st March 2020. Skrine will comply with the directive to close our office premises for that duration. During this time, other than a change in the physical place of work, it will be business as usual for us. We remain committed to providing the same level of seamless and efficient support to our clients. During the past week, we have readied ourselves for this contingency and already have in place the resources available to ensure that there is no disruption to our services provided to our clients.

We will continue to keep you informed on the latest legal developments via the Skrine Insights and Skrine Webinars. Meetings, where necessary, will be hosted through virtual platforms. As all our lawyers will remain accessible via email and phone, please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any queries on your existing matters or if you require any legal support.

We understand that during these difficult times, our clients may be facing challenges that are not limited to inability to deliver on contracts and possible issues in the employment arena. We have put together a team that will be available to provide our regular and established clients with legal guidance on a pro bono basis to assist them to minimise the impact of this unprecedented situation. Please feel free to reach out to our Covid-19 Support Team at covid19-support@skrine.com.

We sincerely hope that you, your families and colleagues are keeping safe and well.
