We wish to congratulate our partner, Sharon Chong, on being elected as the new President of the Malaysian Institute of Arbitrators (MIArb) for the term 2019-2021 at the 27th Annual General Meeting held on 4 July 2019.
 
MIArb is the national institute dedicated to facilitating the practice and study of arbitration and other alternative dispute resolution (ADR) methods. The membership of MIArb consists of arbitrators and arbitration practitioners with eminent qualifications and experience in a variety of professional disciplines from industries such as building and construction, engineering, banking, finance, law, insurance, service and manufacturing industries, to name a few.
 
Sharon has been with the Firm since 2008. She is a dispute resolution partner and her portfolio focuses on aviation, international arbitration, commercial litigation and arbitration, company law and shareholders’ disputes.
