2019 Kuala Lumpur Summit on Commercial Dispute Resolution in China

On 17 October 2019, the 2019 Kuala Lumpur Summit on Commercial Dispute Resolution in China was held at the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC) in Kuala Lumpur. The summit aimed to not only encourage engaging discussions on how to cope with the opportunities and challenges under the Belt and Road Initiative, but also to create lasting international connections among the Chinese and Malaysian dispute resolution communities and their international counterparts.

Our partners, Leong Wai Hong and Hemalatha Parasa Ramulu, participated in the summit as a commentator and a moderator for their respective sessions.

Wai Hong’s session was titled, “Restructuring in the Capital Market of PRC: Addressing the Global Change and New Economic Environment” and Hemalatha’s session was titled, “Lessons from the Tech Giant Battles: New Trends of Resolving Technology and Patent-related Disputes in the PRC”.
