On 25 September 2019, 14 members of the Skrine family volunteered with Pertiwi Soup Kitchen. The team made their first stop at the Pertiwi Headquarters opposite Loke Mansion, before moving on to Jalan Hang Lekiu (near Dataran Maybank).
 
For this time around, our team were also joined by volunteers from Monash University.
 
Food and drinks were provided by Pertiwi Soup Kitchen to more than 500 Malaysians, of all ages and temperament, just looking for a bite and a hot cup of coffee to keep them going.
 
The tasks of distributing the food and drinks were ably carried out by all volunteers.
 
Special thanks must also be given to our fellow Skrinees, who sponsored additional food items for all the beneficiaries.
 
This was the firm’s 5th volunteering activity with Pertiwi since the initiative was launched by the Social Responsibility Unit in 2018.
