Skrine x Project ID: Public Speaking Workshop

On 5^th June 2021, as part of Skrine’s collaboration with Project ID, a team of Skrinees comprising Tan Hui Wen, Rachel Chiah, Tan Wei Liang, Raja Nadhil Aqran, Danielle Devinna Dickman, Sandhya Saravanan, Kailash Kalaiarasu, Laarnia Rajandran, Jeremiah Ch’ng, Arif Umar Faruq, Chew Sue Peng and Soraya Sulaiman Ong conducted an online Public Speaking Workshop via Zoom for a group of secondary school students across Malaysia.
 
The Skrine team kicked off the workshop with a presentation on the key steps to public speaking. The workshop then moved on to the breakout session where the students had the opportunity to deliver their own speeches and applied the key tips they had learned during the presentation.
 
At the end of the workshop, our lawyers and the students had a feedback session, and we were glad to hear that the students felt more confident and learnt a number of practical tips which they could use in the future. It was humbling and inspiring to see these students be confident and eager to learn with enthusiasm despite the pandemic.
