Skrine's 58th Anniversary

Skrine celebrated its 58th Anniversary on 1 May 2021. Due to the pandemic, the celebrations this year took place virtually with pre-recorded videos of the entire event.
The celebrations kicked off with an opening speech from our Senior Partner, To’ Puan Janet Looi, followed by an endearing interview with one of our founders, Mr Chin Yoong Chong, who reminded us of the origins of Skrine and the values that we continue to uphold today.
Thereafter, Partner, Preetha Pillai, presented our very own Skrine Awards that award outstanding academic and sports performance among our staff’s children. Long Service Awards were also presented by our Senior Partner to our valued employees in recognition of their loyal service. Partners, Lim Koon Huan, Richard Khoo, Fariz Abdul Aziz, and Consultant, Theresa Chong, drew names for a lucky draw.
Everyone then got to view the videos produced by each floor in Skrine for our annual inter-floor video competition, the winner of which was announced by Partner, Siva Kumar Kanagasabai.
Finally, the event concluded with a bittersweet tribute to our former Consultant, Vinayak Pradhan, and former Partner, Vinayaga Raj Rajaratnam, whom we sadly lost last year.
