On 17 February 2023, Skrine’s Professional Development sessions resumed with great enthusiasm after a two-year break from the global Covid-19 pandemic. As part of our current 2023 initiative, we invited our Skrine’s Consultant, Tan Sri V.C. George to share some insights of his experience with our young lawyers and pupils. The questions related to his memorable journey as a young counsel in 1957 to the day he was elevated to the judiciary in 1981. He retired as a Court of Appeal Judge in 1994. The knowledge sharing session included his experiences as a judge and as an Arbitrator which he pursued after his retirement.
 
He shared some knowledge and experiences which included some notable landmark judgments reported in various law journals. Lawyers and pupils truly gained first-hand knowledge of the many aspects of legal practice.
