Skrine Structured Attachment Programme 2026
The structured attachment programme in 2026 will be conducted physically and there will be two separate sessions in June/July 2026 and August 2026 during the following periods:
- 29 June to 24 July 2026
- 3 August to 28 August 2026
Applications for attachment for each session are invited. All applications (for both sessions) must be received by
22 May 2026. We will respond to successful applications latest by
29 May 2026.
Each attachment student will be assigned to a lawyer for the duration of the attachment. The lawyer’s role is to act as a mentor to the attachment student.
The attachment students will be given assignments by email and attend talks organised by the firm on various topics, including the firm’s practice areas, Skrine’s library usage and research skills, professional development talks, and lawyers’ personal experience. We also organise an Internal Moot for our attachment students, to give them an insight into arguing a contentious case.
All this is intended to provide the attachment students with an exposure to the breadth of Skrine’s practice areas and an overview of real practical issues that lawyers deal with in their professional practice.
