Covid-19: RMCO (No. 8) Regulations Further Amended

The Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases (Measures within Infected Local Areas) (No. 8) Regulations 2020 (‘RMCO Regulations’) were further amended by the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases (Measures within Infected Local Areas) (No. 8) (Amendment) (No. 4) Regulations 2020 (‘Amendment No. 4 Regulations’)1.
 
The Amendment No. 4 Regulations amend the RMCO Regulations by providing that regulation 4B2 which prohibits a person from moving from Sabah to Sarawak, Labuan or any state in Peninsular Malaysia without the prior written permission of the police officer in charge of the police station nearest to the person’s residence shall apply for the period commencing from 9 November 2020 to 6 December 2020.3
