We are pleased to have acted for SP Setia Berhad in its collaboration with  Mitsui Fudosan (Asia) Malaysia Sdn Bhd to develop a 113-acre residential development within Setia’s flagship township of Setia EcoHill in Semenyih.
 
The project has an estimated gross development value of RM1.3 billion and marks the parties’ second joint venture. We had also advised SP Setia on its first joint venture with Mitsui Fudosan in 2023. Our alert on this transaction can be read here.
 
The proposed development will comprise 683 units of bungalows, semi-detached and cluster homes, scheduled for phased launches from 2026.
 
SP Setia is assisted in the legal aspects of the joint venture and the related agreements by our Partners, Phua Pao Yii, Jesy Ooi and Tan Wei Liang, and supported by Associates, Cynthia Lam and Chong Cai Yi.
