On 1 October 2024, Langham Hospitality Group (“
Langham”), through its related entity, Kindway Express Limited (“
KEL”) entered into a joint venture with Oxley Rising Sdn. Bhd. (“
ORSB”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Oxley Holdings Limited. Pursuant to the joint venture, ORSB and KEL will hold 70% and 30% shares respectively in Artisan Hospitality Sdn. Bhd. (“
AHSB”).
AHSB will acquire part of the Oxley Towers KLCC Project from ORSB, comprising 14 stories of luxury hotel rooms and two stories of hotel facilities (“
Luxury Hotel”) for RM250 million. ORSB will also procure, oversee and manage the design, execution, completion and delivery of the architectural works, mechanical and electrical works and fit-out works for the Luxury Hotel.
Langham Hotels Management (HK) Limited will manage the Luxury Hotel under The Langham Hotels brand, marking Langham’s debut in Malaysia.
The Luxury Hotel, spanning approximately 24,284 square metres (with an additional 8,282 square metres of accessory parcels), is set to open before 31 December 2027. It will be one of two hotels in the Oxley Towers KLCC development, which will also feature serviced suites, retail spaces, and an office block acquired by a Malaysian financial institution.
