The new requirements announced by the Malaysian government applicable to companies which intend to hire foreign workers or new expatriates, namely, the requirement to advertise job vacancies on the MYFutureJobs portal, will take effect from 1 January 2021 instead of the earlier announced date of 1 November 2020.
