Upcoming Meeting of Malaysian Parliament deferred

The Second Meeting, Fourth Term, Fifteenth Parliament of the Dewan Rakyat (House of Representatives) (“Second Meeting”) originally scheduled from 23 June 2025 to 31 July 2025 has been changed to 21 July 2025 to 28 August 2025.1
 
The change in the Second Meeting is to enable the Malaysian Government to finalise its economic growth projections by taking into account US reciprocal tariffs as inputs to the preparation of the 13th Malaysia Plan.2
 
Correspondingly, the Second Meeting of the Dewan Negara (Senate) of the Malaysian Parliament has been rescheduled and will commence on 25 August 2025 until 10 September 2025.3
