Skrine has advised Ekuiti Nasional Berhad on its successful divestment of its majority interest in pharmaceutical distributor Medispec Sdn Bhd to a leading Malaysian pharmaceutical group. Acquired in the midst of the Covid pandemic, the government private equity firm said the divestment delivered net internal rate of return of 36.9% and money multiple of 3.5x.
