Transaction News: Saudi Arabia’s TAQA acquires Tendeka BV

Skrine is pleased to have supported Industrialization & Energy Services Company (TAQA), a Saudi based specialised oilfield equipment and service provider on Malaysian law elements in respect of its acquisition of the entire issued share capital in Tendeka B.V. (“Tendeka”). Tendeka is a UK-based engineering and manufacturing company with offices in Houston, Stavanger, Aberdeen, Dubai, and Kuala Lumpur, and specializes in offering reservoir monitoring and control, advanced lower completions, and production optimization technologies.
 
The acquisition of Tendeka is part of TAQA’s strategy of expanding its well services offering and become a leading international services and equipment provider. The acquisition adds additional well completions offerings to TAQA’s existing portfolio of services.  
 
The Skrine deal team was led by the Fariz Abdul Aziz, a partner within the firm’s Corporate Division and who co-heads our Energy Practice, who was assisted by Senior Associate Tan Wei Xian, together with Associates Vanessa Ho, Faith Chan and Amanda Hollow.
