The founding family shareholders have completed the disposal of their shareholdings in Aquaspersions Ltd and Aquaspersions (M) Sdn Bhd to CBPE Capital, a London-based private equity firm, and the management team led by chief executive Alan Bewsher.
 
The Aquaspersions companies are manufacturers of specialist chemicals that enable additives to be dispersed in the manufacturing process of polymer materials, such as rubber, latex, adhesive, coatings and plastics, to attain enhanced properties in the end products.
 
Addleshaw Goddard and Skrine acted for the founding family shareholders in the transaction involving Aquaspersions (M) Sdn Bhd. The Skrine deal team was led by M&A Partner Fariz Abdul Aziz and supported by Associate Jeralyn Kan. The deal team was further supported by lawyers within Skrine, including Regulatory Compliance Partner Lim Koon Huan, Data Protection Laws Partner Jillian Chia, Employment Partner Foo Siew Li and Real Estate Partner Oon Hooi Lin and Associate Catherine Looi.
