Short-selling suspended on Bursa Malaysia

The Securities Commission Malaysia and Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad have on 23 March 2020 announced that Regulated Short-Selling, Intra-Day Short-Selling and Short-selling by Proprietary Day Traders on Bursa Malaysia will be suspended until 30 April 2020. The suspension of short-selling does not apply to Permitted Short-Selling[i].
