On 19 June 2026, the Government of India (“
India”) initiated an anti-dumping duties investigation on imports of dialyzers under subheading 9018.90.31 of the Harmonized System Code (“
subject merchandise”) originating from China and Malaysia.
According to the India’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the relative dumping margin for imports of the subject merchandise from China and Malaysia is not only above
de minimis level but also significant. There is also sufficient
prima facie evidence that the subject merchandise from China and Malaysia are being dumped into India.
The initiation notification was issued by the Directorate General of Trade Remedies (“
DGTR”) which requires interested parties to file their questionnaire responses within 37 days from the date on which the non-confidential version of the domestic industry’s application is circulated by DGTR or transmitted to the appropriate diplomatic representative.
