India’s Potential Anti-Dumping Investigations on Imports of Linear Low-Density Polyethylene and Textured Tempered Coated and Uncoated Glass from Malaysia

Recently, the Indian domestic industry has requested the Directorate General of Trade Remedies to initiate trade remedial investigations on imports of Linear Low-Density Polyethylene (“LLDPE”) and Textured Tempered Coated and Uncoated Glass (“TTG”) from Malaysia. The LLDPE investigation is proposed as an anti-dumping investigation against imports from Malaysia, the State of Kuwait, the Sultanate of Oman, the State of Qatar, the Republic of Singapore, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. Meanwhile, the TTG investigation is proposed as a sunset review against imports from Malaysia.

The proposed period of investigation is expected to cover January to December 2024, or a similar 12-month period, and is anticipated to be initiated at the end of June 2025.
